SAE Student Section
The BYU SAE student section is devoted to providing an experience for students to gain hands on problem solving skills related to their engineering education. BYU has supported SAE Baja from 1995 - 2005 and from 2012 - present. The BYU SAE Baja team consists of a capstone team that is responsible for designing the car for the next years competition. Any other student of BYU is eligible to be a support team member. The support team members can either work on capstone sub teams to design and build portions of the car or they can design and build portions of existing cars to develop new ideas for the next year.
